The worst part about going through hard times is not knowing if, or when, the end is in sight.

After three floods, plumbers dug up my floors to get to the overflowing drain. They did a lot of work on the pipes and sealed things over with concrete. Somehow, that still wasn’t enough, and we had another flood last night.

These floods are the cherry on top of every other struggle. I’m very tired.

My goal of completing my draft of NEON BETHEL has gone over my personal deadline, but I’m a few chapters away now and hoping to have it done by the end of the weekend. As such, well… I don’t have much to say again, this week.

If I manage to get this draft done and put it into the hands of some beta readers, my plan is to finally make a dent in my pile of unread books. I’ll let you all know what I think of what I read, even if it’s not a full-blown review.

If you’re interested in beta reading a book about a club, a conspiracy, and monarchy drama taking place in a vampire dystopia, let me know through my contact form or by finding me on Twitter! If you don’t know what beta reading entails, you could check out my blog post about what I think makes a good beta reader!

I hope you’re all doing better than I am.
