I have a home lined up! A gorgeous one, at that!
It’s like my lungs had been filling up with lead with each breath, and the moment the papers were signed, I exhaled it all away. Now, of course, there’s the movers to arrange, more boxes to pack, information to update all over the place…
But the hard part’s over. I could cry. I put so much effort and stress into keeping within my kid’s school district, and I succeeded!
Until I move, I’m living below what’s become a frat house, and as you might imagine, they are not super considerate neighbours. The drumming, the late night parties… Hoo boy, it’s been a trial. However, none of them have threatened to kill us, so they’re not the worst neighbours I’ve ever had.
I’m so excited to finally have good long-term housing in what looks to be a fantastic neighbourhood! My kid deserves it. And, hell, I deserve it too. There’s a lot I would have compromised in order to keep her housed, safe, and happy, but I’m relieved I didn’t have to.
Thank Hestia.
