Okay, so this week, I’m cheating. I didn’t do any of the research or the work I’m about to direct you to.

I am, however, really jazzed about it.

Earlier this week, I got a great email from Ellie Brown, which included a link to Sophia Conti’s blog. Sophia compiled a list of 181 (!) Black-owned businesses to shop from, categorized them, and linked to their pages!

So if, like me, you want to support the Black community beyond tweeting #BlackLivesMatter and can’t necessarily afford to donate money to any of the charitable organizations I listed last year, I’d urge you to bookmark Sophia’s list. When you find yourself in need of new clothing, décor, beauty products, books – anything, really! – please prioritize these amazing shops!
