Fixing; March 20 2024
There’s a lot more family-oriented things to do at a convention than I thought, which is a grand thing when you’re bringing you’re almost-six-year-old to one! My kid had a great time and took away a little prize in the kid’s cosplay contest, dressed as Sailor Moon.
And, not that I’m biased, she was inarguably one of the best cosplayers under ten. I’m just sayin’.
Sadly, it didn’t turn out to be much of a shopping spree, because the Disability Tax Credit I was approved for doesn’t actually qualify me for a tax return. It just forgives a certain amount of debt I’d owe the Canada Revenue Agency, but not even the type of debt I have, so it was essentially useless to me in the end.
I was counting on that tax return. So, I’ve got to turn to y’all again.
Our cat is due to be fixed and we’re severely lacking the funds. The vet got him up to date with his shots, so he’s ready to go, just… We need the money for it. The entire procedure comes to $260 CDN.
If you have anything to spare, we’d really appreciate it. You can donate through my ko-fi!
Fingers crossed we meet the goal quick!
